Sajan Sharma, graduating 4th year student from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, presented his final-year project at the ASME’s International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE)- the largest interdisciplinary mechanical engineering conference in the world. The yearly conference, organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, is being held this year in Phoenix, Arizona (United States) on November 11-17.

Sajan’s work was among around 30 undergraduate projects from around the world invited to be presented at the conference, including an another project carried out in DME on the topic of “Formulation of Landing and Take-off Performance Calculation Tool for Domestic Aircrafts in Nepal” .

DME has been highly encouraging such research activities among faculty and students, from undergraduate to doctoral levels, in it’s various branches of studies.
